Love of Family

I had a great weekend.  We made a quick trip home since the kids were out on Friday.  Drove till midnight on Thursday and spent Friday and Saturday with family.  Then drove back on Sunday.

I sure do love my family.  I got to see Meagan and Ben and their son Rhone while there.  They left on Saturday.  Rhone is so cute and has grown so much.  And it was great visiting with Meagan and Ben. Char of course came down with them, and it was good seeing he as well.  Alicyn came up that night with her kids as well.  On Saturday Lill came up and we made caramel apples and just spent a lot of time together enjoying each other.  We went down to South Weber and visited with Sheree, and let the kids play with their friends.  They really enjoyed it.  Later we went and picked up Grandpa Nielson and took him to Susan's where all of the Willden's got together for dinner.   I spent most of the night holding Emma and loved it.  Jamie and Kelly came with their twins, and they were a hoot as well.  Especially Brayden.  Everything I said to him, he answered with no, till right before he left then he gave me a high five and a knuckle.  It was pretty cute.  We had a good dinner, and visited.  Mauri didn't make it as she hurt herself at work, but her kids came and the kids were glad.  We had a great time.

Sunday morning we didn't visit much, just packed up and I drove the 8 hours to get home.  Makae went with us and her therapist was really worried about her. She left Monday to go visit her daughter so she insisted on Makae coming into her office at 6 PM Sunday night.  She is a really good person and a great therapist.  We got there just barely, didn't even have time to go home first.

I loved the time with family.  I really love it.  I hate coming home, but am fine once I get her.  I just miss them all so much.  Only regret was it was too short and I didn't get to see near the people I want to.  However we will have a whole week in November so I plan on going to church at my old ward!
