Another tradition we try to do each year is to visit temple square. We used to do it at the first of the month, and then we decided after Christmas, which is really the best time. The lights and everything stay up till New Years, and the crowds are all gone after Christmas and you can really enjoy the spirit of it all. However, since Courtney had a concert there on the Wednesday before Christmas we all decided to go then. It was crazy. And on top of it all I didn't feel good, but Courtney's choir sang beautifully. Their songs were so touching. I am glad we went. Herb and Cole went and of course Lill's family and ours. We invited Alicyn but apparently had a misunderstanding. I thought she wasn't going to go, but apparently she was. I felt bad. We didn't leave her out on purpose. We met first at Olive Garden in Layton and had some dinner. Then we headed down. Once there we met Mesa, Cade's and Makae's friend and then we looked at the lights, listened to the music, took some pictures and left. It was a quick trip, but none the less nice.

I bet Rhone would LOVE all those lights. I haven't been to temple square for the lights since high school. Maybe someday.... So glad everyone had a good time!
